The views from Ross’s House are stunning! We celebrated Christmas 🎄 in this warm, clean and spacious house. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed including a dishwasher. Ross was a very welcoming host and we would have no hesitation in booking another stay.

This was our third time staying at Dallachulish, it was lovely to see Ross & Moss again and the house is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, everything is clean and the views are stunning. Thanks also to Dorothy for managing the booking for us and promptly replying to messages and emails 🙂

Tips for other travellers
Would recommend Ben Lora cafe just a short drive away, opposite a pink convenience store where you can pick up supplies. The Creagan Inn is a local pub/restaurant, it has a small menu but the food is nice and the view over the loch is lovely. If you are travelling to Glencoe, I would recommend ‘Craft & Things’ cafe, some of the best coffee we have had.

A perfectly presented , traditional property nestled next to Loch Creran. We held our small, intimate wedding ceremony here. The location is perfectly positioned with an amply stocked store just10 minutes away and Oban only 20 minutes , lots of nice eateries dotted around the area too . We enjoyed a great getaway and everything about the property is immaculately clean and presented . For our family of 5 there was more than enough space for all . No hesitation to recommend this beautiful retreat and the hospitality of Ross, a very genuine and sincere host .

We spent a lovely 4 days in the western Highlands residing in this wonderful lodge. I can’t recommend it highly enough- spacious, fabulous quiet and scenic location, fully kitted out kitchen, greatly centred for touring.

We loved our stay at Dallachulish. Dorothy was wonderful about communication and Ross was so dear to welcome us and make sure that we had everything we needed. Dallachulish’s views are absolutely stunning. The home is beautiful and very spacious. The location was perfect – great high and low level walks out the front door. Fantastic restaurant, Creagan Inn, within walking distance. Probably needless to say, we highly recommend both Dallachulish and Ross as host.

Having waited 2 years to get here we were not disappointed. Dorothy kept in touch with us about the booking and Ross was there when we arrived with a warm welcome. The house is stunning. The view down the Loch Creran is among the best in Scotland. A fantastic place to stay.

Absolutely fantastic location with beautiful views of Loch Creran. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a really comfortable stay. A great location for exploring with local walks and easy drives to explore areas further afield, For us the view of the Loch made it a really memorable trip and we would highly recommend the property and visit again ourselves in the future.

Liz from Peebles September 2021

Great location for walking, cycling and swimming. A lone standing Munro in the glen to climb and great B roads to cycle on. Ate in the creagan inn which had good bar food. The bookshop in Benderloch has great coffee and scones 😊. The pottery shop is worth a visit too with lovely pottery. I hope to visit again a comfortable spacious house in a beautiful place.

The Dallachulish lodge is simply amazing. It’s location, scenery, people and the hospitality made our Scotland adventure memorable. The house has all amenities and was extremely comfortable for our family of 6. Perfect location for day trips to Oban, Fort Williams and the isle of Mull. Sitting on the porch watching the sun set over the Loch on the hillsides was breathtaking. The nearby Creagan Inn for food and drink is an absolute must. Hope to return some day.

Very welcoming host. Beautifully presented house Amazingly breath taking scenic location. Peaceful and relaxed and restful stay ( in our case). Plenty of place to have private space to escape or to have family time. Outdoor dining or just sit and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Ross.

Isabel from Northwich. June 2021

Everything we could have wished for.. really well equipped and loads of space. We enjoyed great peaceful nights sleep, and awoke to spectacular views.  Plenty to see & do. Book on the Jacobean for trip over Glenfinnan viaduct, and try Pierhouse Restaurant at Port Appin for wonderful food.

Philippa from London. June 2021

Stunning location with everything you could need in the cottage. Helpful suggestions of where to eat from Ross.

Ellen from Norwich. September 2020

A wonderfully equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean house with the best view to our morning swimming location in Loch Creran! It was brilliantly easy to arrange via Dorothy, and Ross was the ideal “host”. We were so happy to have our first post-lockdown holiday in this beautiful spot – so much to do and on the only wet day we relaxed by the wood-burning stove. Thanks for a great stay – we will be back!

“The whole process from booking the lodge online, follow up emails, to the arrival check-in and departing checkout interactions were excellent.  Ross was very welcoming on arrival, helpful and provided relevant information on all the local area including an excellent tip on the local Creagan Inn.

5* Review from Daz  on 5 January 2020

This was our second visit to the lodge which we thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of walks nearby, we even climbed one of the mountains you can see from the kitchen window! Great to be able to come back to a cosy log fire. The scenery is stunning and tranquil. Ross is such a welcoming and friendly host. We look forward to returning!

Jan from Perthshire stayed in October 2020:

A lovely house in a beautiful setting. The views from the house are stunning. It is an ideal position within easy drive to Oban and Fort William. The house is very large and perfect to maintain social distancing during our current time. Ross provides everything you need for your stay, it feels like a home from home. This includes all cleaning products and any household product your may need. The wine (my favourite), flowers, fresh fruit, bread and milk were also a nice touch. On our departure a professional cleaning company were outside waiting to clean the property, there are no issues about Covid. Would highly recommend and will definitely will return if we get a chance.”

David August 2020, guest from St Bees:

“Lovely house and great host.
The house is well located – a quiet location yet not far from the main road. Fantastic views from all the lounge, kitchen and bedrooms.
It was spacious and comfortable throughout, with all the facilities you could wish for.
Ross showed us around and then left us to our own devices. You could tell he is proud of the house and rightly so.
Would definitely consider returning one day. “
